Team Leader | Communication Specialist – Etiopia
JCP Srl is identifying a Team Leader/Senior Expert in communication to raise awareness about the EU-Ethiopia cooperation programme among the Ethiopian publics and more specifically to communicate the results of the following 4 EU programmes:
- RESET II- Resilience Building and Creation of Economic Opportunities in Ethiopia
- RESET Plus- Building Resilience to impacts of EL Nino through O=Integrated Complementary Actions to the EU Resilience Building Programme in Ethiopia
- DDRM- Decentralisation of Disaster Risk Management in Ethiopia
- PROSEAD- Promotion of Sustainable Ethiopian Agro industrial Development.
S/He will be responsable for the overall implementation of the project.
The Team Leader will liaise with the EU Delegation to Ethiopia and will be responsible for the provision of the requested service.

Duration: 3 years starting from March 2020

Qualifications:
- University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or similar. In the absence of such a degree, the candidate must have direct professional experience of a minimum of 8 years in the areas of communications, public relations, journalism or any other directly related field. This professional experience must be above and beyond the general professional experience described immediatelly below:
- Experience of a minumum of 8 years in the areas of communication or public relation, journalism or any other directly related field.
- Experience in graphic design, including visual identity and branding or multimedia solutions.
- Experience in designing and developing visibility related publications: short videos, case studies, leaflets etc..
- Experience in organising public events
- Prior management and implementation of communication and visibility actions will be considered as an important asset
- Knowledge of the Ethiopian aid architecture and the EU Delegation’s role in it is an asset.
